My first Dane as an adult, Gus, was followed by my second Dane, Appi -- we were all one big family with my husband and son.  As I began to research more about the breed and pedigrees associated with greatness, I discovered Appi had many of the qualities and background in so many of the pedigrees I had been researching.  We were fortunate enough to have two litters with Appi over the seven years of pure joy that we spent with her -- and to this day there are still many wonderful Danes with Appi’s temperament and look in the world.

Upon losing both my beloved Appi and Gus in the past two years, we made the decision to research the possibility of another breeding with our newest family member, Gidget, who was purchased from a highly reputable breeder in El Paso, Texas.  Gidget’s pedigree holds two of the oldest and most respected kennel names in Dane history (Fleckenhaus and Riverwood) in addition to being a very personable and loving girl.  We are planning Gidget’s first litter of puppies in January 2008 and couldn’t be more excited.  For all the information on Gidget’s pedigree and the magnificent Sire that we have chosen please click on the ‘News’ link above.
